Another NMS Gunship on the roads......................
Spent Saturday at Karls where he waved his magic wand on my buddy's (Mark Jeans's) 4 x 4 Sapphire Cosworth.
A bit of a cold day, but it was well worth the wait for Mark who bought the car at last years National Day. It still only has 42,000 miles from new and is probably one of the most original Sapphires around. The gunship conversion keeps it looking standard and gives it great acceleration.
Mark is over the moon with it, and the drive back to Portsmouth was much more enjoyable than the drive to Coventry.
Just wanted to thank Karl for giving up his Saturday to do another great job.
Will get some pics of the car up soon, and Mark will be bringing it to the shows.

Lamb Chops : Hopefully we'll both be there.
Just taxed my cossie today, so back on the road again at last.
Mark's is really nice and still looks totally original. He does like Bling though.........

you want to try the gunship with greens, much much better
still waiting to see if anyone has more power and speed than my old one though

I was well happy with my mates Lee mk1 escort on the greys
standard engine , standard head, standard cams ,T34.48 on 4wd maifold ,grey injectors 28 psi
7.8.1 comp ... it made 377 bhp @ 27 psi on nobles rolling road ... now that impresive
I know their roadling road is pretty acurate
i was shocked to be honest i said to Lee that it would make about 350bhp max
and for the record T 34.63 wont make 400bhp even cams and ported head maybe about 390 max in car
it will make 400+ on race fuel race fuel no problem at all
I never had 400 bhp ever althought i had a graph to say it did

it ran 316bhp on a rr 5 times on dark blues
with greens i aint got a clue, but proberly not much more power because of the 4wd t3 limits.its all to do with how it got there, how does over 2 bar grap you till 6k dropping to a modest 21psi till the limiter at 7.3k.

my car is nearly ready for the live map it doesn't run right with the chip i have got in it at the min it goes lean from about 1600-2500 PART TROTTLE ONLY CAUSEING THE CAR TO JUDDER
I have checked every sensor /ecu to see why it's going lean at this rev range
it does not happen when i acellerate at all ...only when i'm holding the revs at this speed
karl said he will sort it out in the live map it's due in , in a few weeks
it's 350 bhp at the min i hope he can get a few more ponys out of it
the engine is built as a grp a spec has cams/double valve springs/ ported head so i can't see why it can't make a few more ponys
i'll see how it goes
