went in to town yesterday and parked in the pay and display. Come out of the bank and felt me car keys werent in me pocket, a little bit of panic set in and i went everywhere id been trying to locate them. Eventually went back to my s2 the keys were theyre hanging out of the door lock..........doh!!!!

I left my keys in the ignition of my 3i overnight before - with all doors unlocked and alarm not on

Felt like a right twat when I searched and searched the house for a couple of hours before going out to see if I had dropped em near the car - only to see em in the ignition

I saw a car with the same thing a few years back, it always goes through your mind "this must be a wind up" and your waiting for the old bill to jump out on you if you even touch the keys

left my wallet on top of a fuel pump (automated self service petrol station) and drove off,then couldnt find it when i got to base (im in the RAF and need my ID to get in) so i went in for a temporary id and to tell the guards etc....my wallet had beaten me back to base,someone found it,saw my ID and handed it in,and left everything inside it!

What you doing locking it with the key, you should have a good alarm on it and lock it via the fob
