just checked, scoobynet, lancer register and gtr forums and no results posted yet. Does anybod not know anyone attending today.

 

Just got a txt off ROSSCO, nothing amazing happening, but a scooby has had a bit of an "OFF" up a bank apparently

Last sentance from the txt was

"Soys car is the nuts"

 

Can't believe there are no results yet........

I can't find any reports anywhere. Had a look on Scoobynet, MLR, SXOC, GTIROC, GTR Register. Nothing, we have got the right day haven't we ?

 

the last update i had at about 2pm was that the rc devs evo was winning the 1/4 mile with 10.3, rocket ronnie was second in 1/4 mile and the crd supra third.

ronnie was winning on points overall though.

only cossie news i had was nutter had done a 13.xx @ 110mph

don't know what happened to kev sharpe but his car is not at totb

norris designs evo is not there either.

the BIG power skyline of keith cowie was having clutch troubles in the morning as well.

some of the above figures may be a bit wrong!!. i thinkt thats what they were anyway

 

Shame Kev isn't there, who would that have left as the highest powered cossie ?

Was the Norris Evo supposed to be there or did he never enter ?

 

norris had head gasket issue i think!!

 

gutted would have been good to see up against the rc developments evo.

 

The rc developments evo is a fucking missile,no cossys made the drag semis but good to see tibs martins and nutters doing us proud.paul ripleys old festa made the fwd semis though i think,then i fooked off to beat the traffic that calder supra did 200mph again dont think leons supra was there no sign of kev sharpe neither, but a fooking top day all the same.

 

KEV SHARP'S car not there as pectel havn't finnished ecu yet,plus buisness commitments come first,the guy's got to make money to run his escy remember

Was there all day long, assuming I got this right as it is totally wild, Paul Ripleys old FRST did a 12.77 quarter mile totally mind blowing from a RST, very well done to everyone involved

 

I did a 13.10 1/4,@ 110, on only my 2nd attempt ever!

Martin did 13.17 @ 111, and tib did an 11.xx, but this was after the qualifying had finished.

My first run had my speedo right round to the trip meter reset, but i never got a time . In fact i never got a top speed time until my 3rd run which was 173.7, which was crap and started with a 15.55 1/4 time

Did the handling in 42.00, but i don't know what anybody else did

Just got back, was a great day. On my second run which was also my second time at launching I got a 12.86 @ 107 beating the cars previous best by Paul Ripley, run 5 was actually a 12.78 @ 112

Got in to the final of the FWD and got beat by the CRX by 1 100th. He did a 12.87 @ 107 and I did a 12.88 @ 106

It was Mark Eley's CRX. Engine was still being run it. I know it made 310bhp at 9 psi and that was a low setting, he intended to put the boost up, to what level i do not know, not alot of 1.8's running that sort of power in this country though

Other results from the FWD Rover side of things..

Andy Nicholls Maestro ran a 12.08, apprantly 3rd gear was broken?

Andy's Brother, Rover 25, Ran a 12.33 .

One of our chaps also did 170 mph in a Rover Coupe.
