Dave, I think Martin has a 7' gripper diff if you need a decent rear matey

You will be needing a really good intercooler as well mate, you should think about that Big Proalloy one that Mike has on his Escort I reckon

Yes mate, Hydraulic AP twin. lovely to use. I've got a lightweight flywheel which you may not want on a road car but I find it easy to drive once you get used to it.

Martins done exactly the safe for Efe and Warren Kelly in their big BHP Escorts. They use them on the road with no problems I think I know Rod hated his flywheel but I don't think its that bad at all.

Bet you can't wait to drive her

as for intercoolers You could even go for one of those HUGE ones that Proalloy has done for Martin. You certainly going to need some SERIOUS cooling mate if you aren't going to run NOS.

Dave, ditch the standard cable/quadrant/pawl system

.......Hydraulic clutch is the way forward. Fit an AP or Alcon paddle clutch with a good strong cover plate for the power that you've got, convert to hydraulic and the pedal will be lighter than a standard clutch - and very progressive too. As a bonus the clutch will last longer.........

From memory it is £100 more expensive than the normal one, as it is 15mm deeper and 140mm wider. It's the dog's danglies though !
