Do Not dispose of old smoky turbos !! When your next one goes bang or starts to show signs of age , use the older unit as its p/x to avoid having the car off the road for a long time .
outright sales at Turbo technics are WAY more expensive than with an exchange one
Cheers .

spot on

matt, may seem pesemistic to think about replacing the new unit already mate but if you have to do so sometime you will NEED an old knacker (useable or not) to px in if you wish to avoid full whack price

the difference from between a px and a non px unit from turbotechnics will far outweigh what some pykey off ebay will wish to pay, in fact the reason you should keep it is probably why that pykey is buying a £50 turbo

good thoughts guys!

i'm not thinking about changing it again in the near future but it certainly would cut out the hanging around time waiting for them sort me out.

& tbh even £50 doesn't seem worth it when you have to pay ebay a little bit & then have postage which would be a lot!
