I had some £ in them over the past 3 years and had around £250 back off them mostly in £50 cheques

 

waste of time IMO. i had over 3k invested and got hardly anything back, coulda done better with an ISA , which is where my money is now

 

Had mine for nearly 20 years, never won anything

 

my old man has just put 5k for me and then spread another 5k in other investment ideas as he came into a bit of cash and when he asked how i was doing financially i made the mistake of saying " cant complain"


i thought it was general conversation,,,,,,,,,, all he had to say was " son ive got 15k im gonna donate to you, would you like it now or would you like me to hide it from you so when your totally skint you have a few certificates to look at safe in the knowlege that even though your sleeping under a canal bridge in 5 years you will have 15k back and interst of 32 quid on top










thats why old people should not be allowed to make desisons where thes money involved


but in answer you your question ive not seen a sausage in the last 5 months ive had em but then i only found out about em a month or so ago when i told the old man im skint and need to buy a new tv,,,,,,,,,,,, thats when he tells me the "good" news
