Is it I-POD compatable

 

alpine, no!

 

pioneer dex-p99r , it the bollox! bought in 99, so ipod = nope

 

ive got an old alpine at the mo. Just bought a lead for it so i can connect my ipod into where the cd-changer (ai-net thingy) goes. Can also plug my w800i into it as its just a std headphone jack connection. Only problem being you cant control them from the headunit but will do for now

Im eventually gonna get a new alpine so i can actually control the i-pod from the stereo

 

you could get an fm transmitter as long as you live in a country where they are legal! then you can listen to anything that u plug into it!

 

i had one of them but they will never be as good quality as a direct connection

 

mine is VERY good,plugs into the car for power,and sounds as clear to me as any cd i have!

 

Kenwood head unit etc, etc,
+ I have one of Maplins finest FM thingies (technical term)

100% legal as it connects inline with the Antenna input, but yeah quality will never be up to a direct connection.
