Are you having problems after fitting a certain chip, or is it just simply an aircon issue?
As for the new faults, ensure the ECU connector is fitted home firmly? Have you also performed the P8 ECU reset procedure (not 100% certain if this still applies with Pectel board, but think it does?) ?

the ecu part was just a coincidence it seems, started it this morning now its cooled down o/night and its fine again! had problem last yr with same symptoms so fitted new ect sensor, its only done a few hundred miles since then so surely it cant have packed up again? it deffo seems engine temp related as its fine from cold and plays up when its warmed up? what else could affect it apart from the ect?

have you chopped out the loom connectors in the engine bay that run along the chassis leg and connect the engine loom to the car loom? - if not, i bet that this is your problem - chop them out and hard wire (join the wires with solder) and i can safely say that the root problem will be cured

funny you should say that as ive been meaning to do it for ages, and have even got all the bits ready,is it best to tin both ends of the wires first or just twist the wires together and solder the lot?

then to seal, use heat shrink on each wire to seal it niceley, and then loom tape all together so it looks factory

If you are bothered about remembering which wire goes where, do it one at a time and using joining wires to suit
