Default is my oil cooler ok?

hi peeps just need varification...just purchased an oil cooler and was wondering if it was knackered or not...

basically if u block one of the holes and blow through the other there is an air leak near one of the connection...but its not from the connection itself...its from one of the end caps...

im worried that if i do connect it like this it will leak oil from here also?

or are they meant to do this

Doesn't sound right to me......

Should be completely airtight except for the 2 connecting ports.

Is it second-hand? If so, I imagine that the previous over-tightened the fittings, which ruptured the seal on the connector ports.

Maybe why it was being sold?

yes mate but its 12rows i think...

if u look at the end tanks straight on there are holes in them...and on one of the tanks (where the two top holes are) you can feel air coming out of them...
