anyone got a diagram showing pin numbers for esc cos ecu?p8 type

 

i have,,, but no scanner,, and if i took a photo,, you wouldnt be able too follow them,,,, what you wanna know?

thanks for thaT,will come in handy for future ref,what i meant is which pins are which on the ecu connector as i cant see any numbers

 

theres numbers on the inside if you strip the ecu plug down

 

pins 21 and 12 to be precise,they are for aircon

 

will strip it down and have a look then,cheers

This is correct as per Ford wiring diagram for the Escort Cossie large turbo....

Pin 1 - Earth (brown)
Pin 19 - Earth (brown)
Pin 2 - Lambda sensor (brown/white)
Pin 20 - Power (red)
Pin 3 - Crank position sensor (brown/yellow)
Pin 21 - Not used
Pin 4 - Crank position sensor (green/red)
Pin 22 - Knock sensor (blue/yellow in shielded cable)
Pin 5 - Distributor phase sensor (green/yellow)
Pin 23 - Distributor phase sensor (black/red)
Pin 6 - Knock sensor (black/yellow with brown earth from shield)
Pin 24 - Pin 3 Ignition module (Black)
Pin 7 - Canister purge valve (brown/white)
Pin 25 - Pin 6 Ignition module (black)
Pin 8 - Electronic control loom (blue/white)
Pin 26 - Not used

Wouldve taken me alot longer to work it all out without that, you defo saved me alot of grief

 

very helpful so far pins 12 and 21 are used for aircon,that only leaves pin 26,what is this for? its connected to the ecu inside but ive looked at the ecu connector and there isnt a pin in the mutiplug for this one at all,im wondering if this is the earth i need to run the aircon?

Its the second ignition output channel in correctly enabled software. It is DEFINATELY nothing to do with Aircon.
