Well it is a Cossy.
It's a 1996 P plate.
Was a small turbo with 2 airbags, now a large turbo with 2 used airbags.
He bought them wheels off me....they survived.
He bought the coil overs off me .....they survived.
The brakes...well one disc is snapped in half!!!
I'll grab a picture.
It has a 400+ field motorsport engine on a T34.
Was a nice one once

Ok so its not a rep
If you can afford to do anything then may as well claim it on the insurance rather than have it sit there and rot.
Ok ok so if you loose your NCB you have to pay it all back in the long run but at least you get the cash you need to sort it. Just think of it as a loan.

Something definately aint right here, sorry but....
You've had the car 6 years without claim, you should therefore have 6 years No Claims Bonus, if it's protected then no problem, claim on the insurance.
Even if its NOT protected you lose 2 years from claiming on the policy, so what, you can still protect 4 years bonus!
IMO claim on your policy, get an Escos or at least 10k+ back and pay the extra few quid it'll be at next renewal

Am i reading that right that ou crashed BECAUSE of a loose bit of plastic trim that got under the brake pedal and prevented you from stopping?
If you do decide to claim on your insurance (and yes you really should because thats why you insure a expensive car like this, to recover your money should anything happen to it) you had better remove the reason for the crash and the pictures that include your number plate incase the insurance try to throw your claim out for driving an un-road worthy car.
IMO it would be so easy for the insurance company to blame a bodged speaker upgrade or dash install as the cause of the crash and find a way of wriggling out of paying up because the work wasnt carried correctly.
Thats if an insurance company hasnt already spotted those pictures already

ditto what everyone else says, you have paid into your insurance for yrs so why not claim and get your car fixed?
you should only lose 2 anyways, i just did that with my mondeo after someone smashed the back in, didnt give it a much of a thought as thats what its therefore IMO
good luck in whatever you decide

Thanks to everyone that commented.
Problem I have with insurance on this, is that I have two cars, and have swapped insurance policies around whilst this one was off the road, so now the policy this car is covered on doesn't have anything like full no claims in fact, it only has 2 years, hence the total oblitteration of my no claims on this car.
I just wanted to hear other peoples ideas as to what they would do. As it is, I have nowhere to store the car as a whole, or in bits, no time to strip it, or even anywhere to strip it.
I'm not claiming my insurance, but I am going to sell it as is, so if anyone knows anyone looking for a challenge, then let me know asap. I can only keep it where it is for a couple of days, and then I've got to move it.
There are plenty of usable parts left on the car, so let me know.

Soory to see your car like this
Claim on the insurance, its why you pay for it... Actually NO what am I talking about DO NOT claim on the insurance, that way my premiums wont rise
IMO the shell isnt fixable, not ideally anyway...
In this pic you can see it loooks like the door sill is buckled...!!
I would suggest its ben quite a bit offroad and possibly has more underside damage than above.. judging by the missing bodykit , lumps of mud etc..
