Default abs on a 2wd cozz

my system aint worked for ages and mots up next month so i decided to have a grin and see whats up with it tested everthing loom, resistance in the sensors at the ecu ect found 3 sensors not sending a volt to the ecu . so i strip a sensor out and clean up the seating area start getting a reading but not a strong one any ideas to y this is happening whats the best way to service the abs or shall just rip the lot out ?

dont remove it because it works well and is a good safety net! for the MOT i'd suggest removing the bulb or taping over the light but that IS NOT SAFE and people will frown on you for that. its a quick fix to pass an MOT but ideally get someone who knows what they are doing to help you

mate the only advice ive had is clean the targets but they look ok and not really convinced its that

is the ABS light the one above the indicator light, thin orange light with a car skidding on it???

when you took the sensors out did you clean the earth points up on the hub

i thought my sensors had had it but after cleaning the sensors and sanding the hub down again to where they bolt my abs has been working fine

worth a try i supose

a proper mot place will know that it has abs, so they need to see the light come on at ignition on and go off after roughly 5 seconds. taking the bulb out therefore also results in a failure. i cleaned up the earth points on the hubs and the sensors, and it sorted it
