Twin Engine or Cossy Conversion....
Hi,
Just after advice for a series 2....want to do twin engine zetec setup approx 250bhp each engine or cossy 4wd conversion. Seen both done but really cant decide...
Any info / advice? Car needs to be road legal...
I can see pros and cons for both but before I commit would like to hear your views....
Thanks
Neal

No i dont! Personally it will be cheaper to do one, more practical! look at the work involved in 2 engines and gettting them working properly!!!!! Plus 500bhp cossie engine isnt unreliable if done right

i would of said welding in cossy 4x4 complete innerwings, floor etc is a longer process than welding in the front of a s2 in the back like Jay has done in Restorations and rebuilds...
There was a guy on here that did one a S2 with twin zetec turbo running 600bhp,mtx75 box, etc imperial blue massive spec..anyone know him?
Thanks
Neal

Have you seen a mega quick twin engine car though? IMO to much work, two expensive! you have to tune two engines And it makes the car heavy as fook!
Plus most importantly i sure its not road legal!

Then you have to tune the engines to more power for the extra weight in the car making it slower down the straights and dodgy handling.
Karl has a twin engine fiesta though and thats supposed to be rapid. I think he was going to fit two cosworth engines into it. Does anyone know if he is still doing this?
