it doesnt say HOW it works? i assume there's an extra "steam stroke" in there, but how/when/why?

Come on Jim its not hard to work out!

After the exhaust stroke there is a water intake stroke (presumably dealt with via a seperate injector/ set of injectors) , followed by a water output stroke, the fact that there is atomised water (obviously effective for cooling) inside the cylinder during this time reduces cylinder temps sufficiently enough to disregard the use of a conventional cooling system.

Least thats how I understood it
