You have to pay council tax yearly? or have you been paying monthly..and this is an invoice for what youve paid so to speak?

That doesn't include water or sewerage, you pay for both those seperately as that's privately supplied.
Mine was about £131 a month last year, will probably be about £150 a month this year (increase is way above inflation). Both me and my bro co-own the house and are employed so we get shafted!

I'm in a band D house and it was about £1310 last year. I heard that the increase was going to be over 10% for this coming tax year so would be about £1460 or thereabouts.

The problem is tho , in this country we are all moaning gits ( me inc ) but we do nothing other than moan at each other ,,if we actually took a stand against shit like this ( as they do in america ) then we wouldnt get ripped off like this ,
Look at petrol prices etc etc in aussy and america ,,why is it so cheap ??/simply because they dont stand for the tax we do ,, they do summat about it

Band D, think its now £116 per month
for what? me to carry my bins down the bottom of the drive and them not to empty them half the time (fully) and then chuck my bin lid on the floor
