I should elaborate, not wanting to be ultra-competitive or owt, but be able to push the car a bit and have fun etc, that's all

Mate of mine tried it with one of those little volvo turbo things and it was slower round the track than his old xr2. Had problems trying to slow down without braking really early as he couldnt go down the box.

Went to Brands last week, my mate took his Volvo 850R auto estate on track, more for a laugh really. He found it hard getting traction out of the corners, i was behind him at one point & have it on video for 2 laps, quite amusing, he could only stay out for about 4 laps at a time as the brakes kept disapearing on him. Their was also a Audi A8 4.2 V8 Quattro that had slicks on it & that was auto, he did alright & didn't have any probs, was fairly quick as well.

Your main worry is the brakes i would say, being auto & heavy they will fade quickly.

Get it on track,goodluck.

Simon.
