Theres a yellow and black one down my road I alway see him when I am walking though and never when I am driving! I will have a cheeky pop at him given the chance

I'm glad somebody asked .
The original GT40 was called this because it stood 40" high. The new car is some 4" taller than this. Also Ford no longer own the rights to the GT40 name, so had to call it the Ford GT (you can even see it is listed as this in the ebay link you posted ). This why it is not a Ford GT40, which is the original 60's version ONLY .
