Default Royal Mail loosing parcels..........

Has anyone had a parcel posted to them via standard parcels, and it not turn up?

I had a aprcel sent to me on the 21st of feb, got the receipt to proove, and extra insurence etc etc, and it hasn't arrived yet.

The official date for it being "lost" is 14th march, but i feel it has been lost already

has anyone had a standard parcels item take ages to be delivered or lost ? what is the claim procedure and how long does it take?

Cheers

Wait until you try to claim, the information they ask for and timescale involved are all designed to make you not bother.

14 Kilo box, that would be a drivers parcel, do you always have the same guy,or do they change?

Just because you dont have a tracking number i wouldn't worry.

I have just rang them up as im waiting for a parcel that was sent 20th Feb with the tracking number and all that it means is someone will know that the item has been delivered but as to where the parcel is no body knows

i had a parcel force item not turn up. luckily it had a tracking number and i tracked it to nottingham depot.

so i had to drive 75 mile round trip to the depot and go and ask some1 to find it for me the box got split open and all the stuff fell out, hence why a delivery was NOT attempted they didnt inform me, or the sender of this either

luckily they found it. minus a few little things
