It was "okay", but when you're driving someone elses Ł33,000 car and he has told you to be careful of the water temps, it seemed "slow" .

I broke the centre diff! on the very first session battling with the M3CSL which was wickedly fast Also the water temp was showing 115c after 2 laps! SHONKY DATSUN

I was only out in the afternoon as Renton only turned up in it at 2pm!

It is a big heavy car and it sounded awesome, but didn't feel that fast in a straight line either. It's also disconcerting when you can feel the transmission shunting the power round, as you're not sure what it's going to do. I did drive it very conservatively through the corners though and had to slow down after each hard lap to get the water temps back down . It later transpires that it is a common problem with the sender for the display and nothing wrong with the car .

Didn't feel fast at all actually. It was spluttering and misfiring on 1.2 bar so it was only on low boost when Mike drove it. So its got a few problems to be honest right now as it was FAST when I first got it....

It was awesome though the bends though

Gutted about the centre diff though! that is going to be a HORRIFIC amount of money

There was somebody taking photos on that corner all day. Does anybody know when and where they will turn up? I assume that they were taken by an official Bedford photographer?

Nice pics.

Lee - skyline does look good though. Shame about the diff.

How gutted am I that I couldn't make this one - I love Bedford, but what was with the coned off bit, and not using the start finish straight and the first two corners?

They had done some repairs to the side of the track (summit to do with the drainage) and the concrete hadn't gone hard due to the cold weather so to be safe they cut that section off...
