This isn't good to here. I'm currently running in an engine that EA have built for me and paid quite a bit of money for.

I was always gonna go to Stu for a live map when it's run in anyway, but I'm still a little concerned.

Ian - What do EA say about the wastegate part? They say they messed up? Or do they say that the setup is fine?

It's not a monster BHP engine thats using a GT turbo or external wastegate or anything.

Just a Stage 3 with T3/4 .48.

Well no, it ain't standard is it.

Resons for going to them. Relatively close (Compared to Stu and Karl) and seemed to be flavour of the month when I needed the rebuild.

Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing.

I was shocked when Ian told me

Unfortunately this is very bad publicity for EA.....hopefully Paul will see this and maybe comment or address peoples issues...as i thinks its obvious there are many unhappy people about

My own experience was a little fusterating re a chip BUT it was free so i cant really complain and deceided to break the car anyway due to GTR

I had more trouble re a chip thru SCS though and that wernt free...BUT thats water under a bridge.

Lets be honest we all have gripes with people when you pay em to do/or for something...thats life..we are a nation of whingers..ROFL.

As said Stu @ Motorsport Developments and Tony @ Turbosystems are the ONLY 2 garages that i have never heard any complaints about...and these both dislike me..ROFL ...i would have said Karl BUT i do hear a lot of gossip in my line of work and there was a complaint re an exhaust you sold to someone once!..BUT like i say nowt major..just a bit of bad customer service..but hey i am sure Tony would blot his copy book if i asked him for anything

Darone3dr

Saw your car ad engine being fitted when I was last there on 6th July. You wont have a problem with it at that spec. My problems only began when I headed for 600bhp. Obviously you have a warranty....... surely thats the whole point of taking your car to a tuner isnt it? Or is it?!

Pail Hills said this, Paul said that, Paul the mapper, blah blah fooking blah!!LOL, ex mountune this and that.............

Paul Hills can stick his high compression high power engines up his bum IMO!!LOL Did someone not tell him these are high powered road engine NOT rally engines running restrictors!!LOL

Take a look on my website for an exhaust manifold with a correctly specced wastegate take-off and compare that to two 19mm OD pipes that Ian had on his and see just how WRONG Ian's was .

PMSL @ Dan some good points ! Mountune used to build rally car engines USED to be maybe being the important word and like you say EA have experience in rally\rallycross not high power road engines which im sure are a very different animal

If i ever win the lottery and build a superspec cossie only 3 people IMO from what i have read that have never had bad comments about them Martin, Karl or Julian Godfrey if I ever wanna become a rallycross legend

Dan...you do seem to have a big mouth..ROFL...bigger than mine at times.

Please REMEMBER...no one is forced to go high compression BIG bhp...you seem to think Paul holds a shotgun to the head and says in a German accent "you veal obey my commands or you veal be wrapped with piano wire"
