GONA FIT TURBO....HELP PLEASE..
Going to have a go at removing/refitting a turbo to my s2erst in a few weeks time......is there anything i should check/renew once ive removed the turbo??, ive heard there can be issues with the oil feed to the turbo and as its gona be a stage3 going on the last thing i want to happen is it fcuk up due to a stupid pipe etc 
, im lucky enough to be getting the turbo on a manifold and the exhaust elbow attached and .31 actuator aswell so it will hopefully be take off put on

It Wasnt Me!
If your happy the new turbo is fine, Once removed oil feed pipe, remove it from the block aswell, inspect and makesure it will flow freely.
once fitted new manifold with turbo, fit oil return, exhaust etc, leave the oil feed and bigger compressor boost hose off, long nose vice grips, hold the compressor wheel, not too tight and be carfeull not to damage it, get a cup to catch oil from feed pipe, take coil lead off, get someone to crank the engine over till oil comes out the feed pipe, attach feed pipe, conect coil lead and boost hose and fire it up! You could catch the oil through the return hose but i dunno if oil would come through if the shaft isnt turning? no idea. Thats how i would do it anyway
You could fit a oil pre filter to the oil feed but thats up to you.

It is also worth while flushing the rad through, as i did this on my old one when changing the turbo and the amount of crap that came out the rad made me wonder how it was ever efficiant.
And as for the oil feed pipe i would just replace it as they are only cheap

Ur a star dan , ill supply lots of tea/coffee and bacon sarnies , and a heated garage , wont be til 1 april though thats when im picking it up.............................and no its not a joke
