How much is my car worth?
If and when i ever get the new engine fitted and run in and proved reliable i am seriously considering selling up and moving into something new.
The reason for me thinking of getting rid is purely personal and is not financial, so i don't mind hanging on to it to get the best possible money for it.
I will no doubt regret selling the car but sometimes enough is enough and something has to go.
I personally always said if someone flashed £16k in front of me they could have it.
All i will keep is the wheels, as Karl and myself have the only 2 sets of this kind and they will be kept as a spare set for him. So a new set of rims will be fitted to whatever the new owner wants.
This is not a for sale post, just wondering what the thing is worth, and no doubt i will end up keeping it anyway, 'cos i won't let it go cheaply just for the sake of getting shot of it.

Well worth 16k imo
Always loved the splitrims you and Karl have fitted
But sadly its worth more if broken but it would be a crying shame to bust it up.

depends on loads of things.
but generally its all down to the bodywork. people arent that fussed about whats under the bonnet IMO, people would rather pay more to have good paintwork rather than a powerfull engine, ideally both. But power doesnt float all 500 owners boat.
I think if the bodywork is in very good order, original panels and preferably original paint, and hasnt had a cage, then £14k-£15k should be within reach.
Maybe £16k unsure what the market is like for 500's anymore as i havent looked.
Although just looked at the reg, and being a D plate its either a promo model or its 3dr and not a 500?
which means knock about 5-6k off what i said.
personally i would keep it if its not for financial reasons. Top car

It is officially a 3dr. A sister car to Tib's and the pair of them were originally part of the Severn Valley Motorsport 'Magnificent Seven', which i know is nothing to be proud of, but the car has a load of history all the same

The best return unless you can find someone gagging for it , would be to return it to nearer standard and then selling it and selling the non-standard stuff seperatly fella
