Default WHICH PIPE FOR BOOST GAUGE????

My s2erst has a boost gauge fitted to the vacuum pipe coming from the left hand side( as u look at the engine from the front)of the pipe coming from the inlet manifold with a t-piece...the thing is ive been thinking should the gauge be fitted to the pipe on the other side the one going to the ecu?, the pipe that the gauge is connected to doesnt go anywhere but only to the gauge as ive got a aftermarket breather system fitted,, any ideas , cheers

Sounds fine to me! The boost guage needs to see boost..... the boost will be the same regardless of whether its coming out of the left or right hand elbow on the inlet manifold!

Hope this helps!!!!

just make sure your not T'ing it off from the same pipe that goes to the ECU, that should be by itself
