Default Bailey Header tank

Ive just noticed that the connection on top of the swirl pot is different to the outlet on top of my new bailey header tank. Anyone know what hose or connection i need to fit it please???

if your bailey tank has push on stubs then youll need a boss welding on to take aeroquip type fittings unless you want to bodge it,also the banjo fitting wants turning round so it angles upwards not downwards

or you could fit an 1/8 bsp adaptor to convert it to push on hose in the top of the swirl pot and then fit sillicon hose instead

Yeah thats what id like to do ideally mate. Sorry but what is a 1/8 bsp adapter and do you know where I can get one from please?

you need a male adaptor, 1/8 bsp thread one end and push on spigot on the other end,ill have a look in garage tonight and post a pic for you,any good hydraulic hose type place should sell them,it would look a lot better in aeroquip though just a lot more expensive

something like these ,is yours a ggr swirl pot? if so itll be 1/8bsp,if not you will have to find out the thread size

Yes it is a GGR swirl pot mate. Ill go get one of those and a samco at the weekend then.
