Default GUTTED ! ! Unbelievable . .

My Saff cossie had developed a slight misfire, and the other day noticed oil in water (Expansion tank). So decided not gunna mess about spent 450 quid at amber motor sport bought all gaskets (Cometic) belts tensioners etc etc.

Whipped the head off to find two cracks in the block between the water jackets and the head bolts GUTTED . . I wouldnt be to bothered but the engine was rebuilt by bluesprint motorsport 8000 miles ago (low comp etc etc , and ran really really well). Just dont know what to do now . . .

Who supplied the block. Did you and then take it to bluesprint or did bluesprint supply and then fit?

No thats the block im looking at buying, to repair.

I bought new head bolts from amber, these arnt ford but they will be stretch bolts right?

Iwas running around 300bhp, greens, 500 intercooler. No piston/bore or head damage so spec doesnt matter surely? A cracked block will mean done up to tight?
