They are SO much more capable off road than people give them credit for, the only thing that lets them down really is ground clearance, but you could certainly hammer over mild terrain in them forever.
We had some out on test at silverstone when i was doing some test driving for Toyota when that model was still new and i was absolutely gobsmacked at how good they were as i had previously (having not experienced one properly offroad before) dismissed it as a "jacked up car"
Personally dont think much of how they look, but thats a personal thing anyway.
SO well made though like pretty much everything toyota do.
People forget that toyota have been making landcruisers for 50 years now and have learnt a lot more than they get creditd with about off roaders!

lol its more like my dad getting his wallet out, i cant afford a car!!!! and won't be able to for around the next 5-7 years 
have too much education to go
But hey i will keep this a few years and then my dad said he would buy me a brand new car soooooo its all good!

He does look weird driving it though, hes about 18 stone and 6'3
But danielle i a littler daintier than that, so i dont think the "girly" image will be a problem to her
