Default Starting problem, please help!

I have a 3ltr capri, Turbo, and im having trouble starting it. THere is fuel getting to the carb, and in the float chamber but it doesnt seem to be getting into the chokes, if you inject a little bit into the top of then chokes it starts, and is obviously sparking, any ideas anyone, and does anyone know about the carb?
