I've used em few times before and haggled with em. Got screen for mk4 escort for 20quid. full interior in mint nick etc. Usually been really good.
Just spoke to em on phone today about some glass for escort cab and he quoted me 60quid for passnger door glass and rear passenger glass. Asked if he could do any better and he said 70...
then 60 again, i said thanks mate i'll leave it and he put phone down almost before i finished speakin.
Wouldn't give them time of day now, they've got tonnes of bits for allsorts but like said, prices aren't great and recently they've been really rude.

yes he pays good money for his motors so prices are a little on the high side but quality of goods is high too
so you pay for what you get he can be arsey some times but good quality stock and good quantity of it too

i've known a few of them motors to come cheap due to being stolen by whoever supplies them.
And no it's not a rumour, i know/work with couple people who've been involved with him in the past. It doesn't bother me too much but if it was my car...
Besides, if he's going to be arsey and arrogant he's not having my hard earned, no matter what he's got or how much of it. I'll take it elsewhere and so should others.

Ive used them plenty of times, prices have always been fair.
He is a breaker and must get hundreds of calls a day and ill bet a 3rd of them are a waste of time so i cant see him having the best attitude on the phone.
I can name bigger, more well known companies with much worse attitudes!!

i agree with lewis on this like said before
he is a breaker and as so has overheads so you can't expect cheap second hand prices as in all rs breakers they buy good stock as its there business at stake
he's been going some years now so can't all be bad news i've had a fair few items off him and also have a few people i know and if collecting or turning up at yard he has got time for you
just not over the phone lol

The guy is a total w4nker.
He sent me 2 really poor condition seats (ripped, hash burns, worn bolsters, floor pan ripped in two and both had badly re-trimmed head rests) when i specifically asked for minty fresh.
When i complained he told me to send them back for a full refund, that was nearly 6 months ago and i'm still fighting to get my money back. He told me after he got them back that i could "stick my refund up my arse" and i "won't be getting the seats OR money back"
Trading Standards have been trying to reason with him, telling him that by law, he needs to refund as i am covered by the distance seller regs and he needs to refund regardless of the condition of the seats, but he simply said he aint gonna pay.
TS have told me to go through small claims and that i WILL win my case, but i can't be arsed... far too complicated. I'm just gonna make sure it costs him more in lost business by tying up his phone line from Monday morning until he decides to refund me (it's a genuine call in the course of business in an attempt to get my money back ), i'm now off work for a week and have free land line calls
Sorry for the rant on my first post BTW, i'm raging and need to vent coz i feel useless ATM, when they're hundreds of miles away there's nothing you can easily do.
