Must admit I have never seen a cab with roof bars before !

 

I think it's a "bag of compressed air" " tin of stripy paint" "roof rack for a convertible" type of thing.

Works well IMHO,first time I've seen one.

when i first got the car i use to put my bike in the boot which anyone who had one knows that ant excatly easy near impossible infact
ive only ever seen a pic of one and the one i got
i did see a S2 a while back with a roofrack on should of took a pic but i was driveing dont think ill see another

They were primarle sold in europe to accomadote the additonal ski rack fixtures aswell... The All Blue was/is the only cabriolet to have the correct mountins for a rack and if it aint got them its not a genuine all blue.. The kit did come with a template for fitting to lesser model cabs but the idae of having to drill into the A pillar put a lot of folk off.. Ive got 3 complete racks sitting in storage as they are now amaongst the rarest of cabriolet extras

i got mine for a bike and when i get round to haveing lessons a snow board
havent got a pic with roof down with bike but ill get 1 next time am out
youve got 3 racks fair play how come you got 3 took me a age to find mine
personally i thinks its a must have item and have/would pay a big wedge for 1

The first one, came with my first cab, thought it was for a van as box was smashed, took it to ford to check the finis number and they came up as "Delayed back order"..so got on the phone to Daventry ford and found 1 minus instructions and got that. Second came from ebay.. complete minus screw and caps, the third came from a club member who got his at the european ford event..

If i can ill get some pics of the box and booklet..

Its been an age since i looked at them, the pics where taken when i planned to sell them.. if i get a chance ill have a look tommrrow evening and see if all 3 are all complete.. and if there odd then yes..
