cometic do a thicker multi layer head gasket, how much does this drop the compression?

Cometic do indeed do a thick head gasket, they do 3 different thickness's of head gasket for the YB engine

have a look on the woodford garage website - www.cosworth.info

altho the compression reduction will be minimal if anything at all
