ginger is this th turbo engine that was once a xr2i engine or something and you converted yourself and had ran for about a year on 16psi or was that another scrapheap challenge

you said the car was running badly when it turned up and pissing water from the rad,,,,,,when it was actually leaking from a join in the rad,,,,,, that was already known as you was told he has a new one tpo fit but never had time
this engine or socalled "scrap heap challenge" is a 62k mile standard NP CHIPED erst engine that was BODGED as such BUT dont correctly, bit like the term "machined" that so many use,,,,,,,,,, it NEVER missed a beat remember,,,,,,,,,, thats 1 year of NO set up driving and never had a issue, this was ME forcing a mate who said " why bother as its fine,,,, ive had no problems with it"

i HAVE NOT SAID scc are the cause of the pump failing,,,,,, hell not even im that thick,,,,,,, BUT if the pump was on its way out,,,,,,, i asked would that LOWER the fuel presure and so SCC raised it to normal,,,,,,,, when infact the pump was on its way out and in fact running more presure than it should cause the pump couldnt cope,,,, add driving over idle then you get no fuel,,,,,, or little fuel
again fuel presure is NOT what i belive caused the failing,,,,, i was sugesting that the pump was not flowing correct hence the lowered presure,,,,,,,,,, blah blah blah
if the reg wa at fault,,,,,, it was NOT touched by me,,,,,,, cause i dont know how there adjusted,,,,,,,,, iaint got a clue where you do it,,,,,,, that i can promise cause i aint got a clue what to do
turbo failing in such a way would that not cause it to scream and yelp,,,,,,,, or even loose power,,,,,, car never lost any power tbh but in all honesty we never went to high revs to see if it tailed off early,,,,,,,,,,, when it started to smoke that i could see it out the back window we turned back thinking head gasket
last point,,,,,,,,,, on the 2 engines ive had melt ive seen oil mix and slosh about causeing that,,,,,,,, both engines have melted pistons on the outside hence the compression and the lack oif smoke when cold at first i guess
BUT PLEASE REMEBER THAT IM NOT A MECHANIC AT ANY POINT !!!!
just going on what i seen and when backing off the gas and BLUE ONLY smoke covers the motorway like a james bond trick and you get that pop corn smell ive seen it go bad,,,,,,,,,,, mt cabrio has a fooked head gasket and the only problem with that is the idle is lumpy as fook,,,,,,,, its actually almost fine when going,,,,,,,,just dont do over a ton anymore
hope that answers the questions untill i get dirty,,,,,,,,,, i actually HOPE the head gasket is gone,,,,,, i would rather look a prick and have a engine i created still be going then loose all that time i spend dremeling out the engine and filling the port with water to test the cc

How about every one shutting the fuck up until the heads off and we know what has happened?
Get the fucking head off and get some fucking pictures posted up for fuck sake! Every one can talk a good diagnosis and point the finger till the bastard drops off but it doesn't achieve fuck all does it?

rob - yes indeed i should have explained money was not a problem for any kind of fault found. If the set up had cost double i would have paid it.
The head will be coming off tomorrow at 6 when i get home from work. Stand by then for the pics/post.
