FAO KeithB
Did it and running less boost
KeithB - 224bhp vs Linsay 231bhp
Has run at Powers quite a few times hasn't it Think they had 13 previous runs
They said she sounded sweet and were generally impressed with the grey one
Think it's time to get the SVT modded

Great news Linsay!
I can't wait to see the dyno printout and see how your bhp and torque curves compare with the old set up
The spec for 224/210 was PE head and cam, PE zorst, PE chip, Pace cooler with 18psi, TT stage 2 hybrid with a -34.
RW is right - It seems soooooooooo long ago we used to talk RST's - those were good times, stories of flat out through Scotland and what worked and didnt.
Its only a matter of time before you wind a bit more boost on and go for Webber Marelli right Linz?!

Saw your run, was going to congratulate you there (recognised the reg from pics James sent when you first bought it) was very impressed! I couldn't make my mind up whether like the wheels on it or not, but who care with figures like that! lol Very nice RST

Cheers cabrio zo
The MO's got mixed reactions No one else has got any like them
perhaps for good reason i like them
I do still like the diamond cut OE wheels, but seemed a bit daft as i think Keith said 3 of them were buckled when he had the car and i did one of them no favours hitting a big hole in the road in Germany
The other thing that put me off is how the centre cap doesn't match and you lose the ford lettering/numbers - am fussy about small detail like that
I think the Comps looked well on the rollers, will have to upload the video or capture a still from it

15K+ Super Poster!!
Are u sure they were buckled? I drove it fairly quickly and there was no vibration thru the steering wheel. Regadless, Std wheels are easy to get hold of. I really like the car, but i think u've spoilt it with the mo's. Just my opinion. You can get diamont cut look centres, like some OZ wheels have. Mine are gay carbon fibre.

Dunno, just going off what i was told and heard a few times they don't stand up too well to punishment
It did used to get a wobble on just over 60mph
I don't think these MO's are the prettiest wheel - i wanted the curved ones, but they are tougher and were easier to have polished.. and cheap
Ah right We blagged polished centres from the Compomotive stand at Autosport.. nice one Nutter and the man from Comp

Woohoo! Surf control has let me access the page from work!
Graph looks good. I'll try and do an overlay on the 224 run and post it for comparisons sake.
The wheels are buckled in terms of a radial buckle. Once when I was at PE Steve Haggar called me over and span 3 of the wheels round when we were under the car. The rim surfaces on 3 wheels were no longer parallel to the road - thats the best way to describe it.
I'm not a fan of the MO's but I think Linsay's made a great job of looking after the car and it looks better than ever. I'd go for the 7 spoke RS rims personally as they suit the car regardless of how many people already have them.

Got Robin at work to scan it in - CheeRS Robin
Think i possibly love this old car more than you did Keith!! It's a labour of love looking after it.. Just not the polishing the wheels every time i go out

Seriously, your car will give mine a run for it's money. I'm glad we aren't racing for pinks at the Pod. I might chicken out anyway and just park my car in the Norfolk Stand looking pretty..... And the car

All I remember from last year was this.....
And me drinking a bottle of wine that I kept chilled

I'll have to photocopy some of my old PE printouts for you Linz so you can see how it went from 134 to 155 to 183 to 195 to 224 and a fair few more in between!
