Default Boost

Hi guys,
I have recently accuired a 2WD saff cosworth and I have got 328BHP at 21PSI.
What I want to know how do i turn up the boost to 26PSI?
I have been told that by doing so I can get 353 BHP
I want to do this exact and properly but don't really want to get it r/r cos it was recently done.
Thanks chaps I know its got something to do with the actuator [/flash]

right, disclaimer here:i aint responsible for blowing your engine!!!
if you take the rod end off the turbo(split pin, circlip, whatever holds it on, off and pull it up!) then wind the rod clockwise up the shaft to shorten it.try 2 half turns then check the boost(dont just leather it up the road!go about 50mph in 3rd then lightly apply the brakes to put the engine under load, hence the boost will increase, you can then check the peak without goin 120mph!!!dont do this for too long for your brakes sake!then adjust as necessary by repeating the first step if too low or winding out if too high!simple fella.)

WARNING

Unless you know exactly what you are doing then 26PSI may result in 0BHP.

Can you tell us whose chip and what injectors. What exhaust housing are you using?

I run a max of 24psi held on green injectors on a Bayjoo chip. Any more boost really needs a live map to be safe.

Also if you have different cams then 21psi may be the max you can go to.

Stay safe.
