Default its time for a new headgasket! what parts do i need?

guys since mine is on its last legs im sending it in, where shall i get my headgasket from and should i bother with a grp a ford one? or shall i just get the normal ford cosowrth gasket? the £20 quid one


reccomendations/suggetsions welcome please!

Yes, I would go for a Cometic Mulit Layer Head Gasket.

I would reccomend Woodford Garage Motorsport

I would get the late escort cosworth one which is a 'group A' item

About £25 from Amber Performance off ebay I think it is

right its going in on thurs, i know i need the headgasket - i will be using a grp a type

i need to get the headbolts, i was thinking of getting a rocker cover gasket

what else do i need?

while it's all in bits u may aswell have the head looked at see if the guides need changing and also replace the Stem Seals get the job done right and replace all the top-end Gaskets.

Just brought my Group A Head-Set from WoodFord Garage £200.00 and it'll include everything you'll need.

Oh if ya still after a Standard Airbox i've got 1 taken off my 4x4 Sapphire

If thats for the set make sure theyre giving you the valve stems aswell, i got a few prices like that from different people but it didnt include valve stems
