Default New idle control valve

I'm needing some information on setting a new valve up. I got the car to temp car idled at 850rpm but when I plugged in the valve the revs rise away up. Do I adjust with the screw on throttle body or do I adjust small nut on the valve I bought the valve from Burton power.

Here’s a link for the cleaning and adjustment of an old one but you would of thought a new one wouldn’t need it, it also tells you how to set base idle.

I've cleaned my old ones a few times. And set idle at 850rpm. But when the new 1s are plugged in the revs rise to 2000rpm and dont drop. I even adjust idle screw and this also doesnt help.
