New Idle Speed Control Valve - Loom Mod ?

I've been told by the people who supplied my new Idle Speed Control Valve that I would need to change the polarity on it by swapping the wires over.

My 3 Door is running a level 1 ECU.....

Is this correct ?

Just thought I'd check before getting the wire cutters and soldering iron out.
