can someone tell me what does it exactly do?

when you set the co2 you unplug it!

if it was wonky in some way what probs would it cause???

to set car up get the co2 checked to see this is correct for ur set up..if car is modded then co2 will be higher.as a guide my stage 3 is running about 2.7% at idle.get car warm and disconnect iscv.set base idle by adjusting via the the bypass valve under the plenum at the front to about 850rpm then reconnect iscv idle shdnt alter /might lightly rise and drop again.i have a new one and it still sticks about 1000rpm sometimes.symptoms of dodgy valve are a bit hit and miss as with most things a fluctuating idle can also be caused by other things...are u having any specific probs..once all adjusted double check co again

mine is set to 3.0% as when i go to pull away it stutters, also when i pull up the revs go down then up abit then back to normal!
on way home from "the emporium" lol, i pulled up at lights and the revs were stuck at 1.200 rpm abit later went to normal

Throttle sensor sounds a good culprit... as do excesively small plug gaps on a poor plug like C57.

Hi,
TPS is to the left of the throttle body, opposite side to linkage.

Plugs at 0.65 are too small for a stage 1, go for 0.7 - 0.75 (Stick with .65 for 25psi)

Best plugs for a stage 1, price wise are std esc cos AGPR 12PP8.
Performance wise, go for the NGK9 at around £65 for stg 3 and above cars.

Cold running issues are VERY common on cosworths and can be down to a lot of different things unfortunately, but start with the above.
