3dr abs system fault.
I have a problem with the rear brakes on my 3dr in that not enough braking force is going to the rear brakes as informed by 2 previous owners of the car.
i have recently replaced the brakes and found the rear brakes would not bleed and yes it was done the correct way!
Ive also carried out checks on the abs ecu / electrics which seem to be working correctly. So I'm thinking checking the rear compensating valve first to see if I get fluid this far and if not could be a stuck valve in the distributing block which I'd try replacing as see no other way to check the mechanical valves in the block assembly.
Abs pump works as it should.
any other ideas on what may cause this before I get the spinners out! Any help much appreciated,
cheers,
Derek.

I've now split the brake pipe to the front of the rear compensating valve to see if I'm getting fluid to the rear of the car and only a dribble of fluid coming through , ignition on position 2 and foot on brake. The pump is priming as it should.
Im thinking maybe the distribution block at the front of car is at fault.
am I right in thinking I should be getting high pressure to the rear of the car?
Also is the later 4x4 distribution blocks be used on a 3dr as these are all that's available on eBay at the moment.
thanks for any help info on this would be much appreciated.
