Default No power to the fuel pump. 2.0l dohc

I got no power to the pump. The pump is working when i put 12v on it. The fuses are ok. Also the button in the trunk. What can else can i check. I have check the wire from pump to fuse nr 23. Its ok. This is my fuse box is everyting on right place. Bought it this way. Its a 1992 2.0 dohc 4x4. Sry for my bad english. Regards robert

I think on the Cossie the switch is a negative output from the ECU. It may be worth adding an earth to the pump as a test and then track that back...assuming the other Sierra's are the same?

Check the inertia switch, dependant on year you will either find it in the spare wheel well earlier cars or behind the front footwell trim under the dashboard

What do i need if i want to pull new power to the pump. Relay ?

Have you checked the connector in your boot for corrosion?

The inertia switch is not in the bitb if it's a 92 car
it'll be in the driver/passenger foot well kick panel
There will be a hole there for it

Yes its a 1992 . It has a swits in the boot. Is it 2 switses?

If it's a final facelift 92 spec with the smooth dash and square fog light buttons it will be in the foot well
the boot mounted ones were in the 89 spec cars
The other issue I've seen and fixed was the loom to the rear number plate lights, it's shared with the pump and if it's corroded can cause the same issues
