Looks like a 90's Vecta immobiliser came with 3 keys and it was not possible to get replacements

Thats what it is, same as mine, but mine has been updated and it does'nt have to have the push in little keys anymore. Just got a small black plastic thing on my key ring which automatically arms/disarms the immobilisers when you put the keys in/take them out of the ignition. Much better than having to push the key into the slot every time.

You are in the minority Paul, I remember lots of people having issues with these vecta systems back in the day.

Dash out.
vecta is a cylindrical tube.
in tape all the black wiring and work out what circuit has been spliced into.
Remove and join cables where the immobi was.
Simple if you have an understanding of car wiring.

I would fit another more modern immobiliser for security if you take it out.

If you have to leave the key in it's Vecta Shadow, If you put key in and remove it and LED goes green it's Vecta Mangusta
