Cheers for that, I done it at lunch by just gently pushing and they came out easily, the lense came out clean just leaving the grey sealant bonded to the frame.
You dont happen to know what the grey sealant is by any chance Mark?

Sorry, I don't know.
Would have thought any polyurethane type of body sealant would do.
There is a Russian guy selling new glass cheap on ebay

Believe it or not they are still original 30-year-old lenses with not a mark on them, I’m just stripping them to refurbish them and get the reflectors re-plated.

Found a local place yesterday that will do them for £40

re-silvering
Was thinking about that Glenn, was going to use some self adhesive tape that you use on ducting, inquired at a couple of online plating companies one came back with a quote to re-silver 4 of the rear reflectors for £288 and the other was £250
