Default Seirra 8v DOHC efi

Hi All
I was looking for head gasket for the above ,

1) Apart from Burton where do I go we have had this before on the forum that they are expensive but what choice do we have?

2) Has anyone fitted 16v DOHC as a replacement to the 8v DOHC as the opinion is the 16v DOHC is stronger as they are of the same block?

3) Should I really use new cylinder head bolts or will get away with the original if they torque up Ok?

Cheers axle

MLS head gasket set...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200324985810

I'd never re-use head bolts on an engine unless they where long stud type in a yb.

I haven't used that set as I don't have that engine but I have read people recommend it on crustworld. I prefer metal head gaskets to fibre but surfaces need to be perfect.

I have fitted the genuine ford multi steel headgasket to my saph part number 1101405 iirc, its much better than the crappy fibre replacements you get from parts shops which I stupidly fitted first but i did manage to get nearly 10000 miles out of it before it went

As said new head bolts, also id recommend changing your timing chain and plastic tensioner while your at it to save you any heartache in the future
