Default number plate mount.

How to you fasten the front number plate on the bumper?
The two holes for screws in the bumper don't hold it securely enough. I've tried Velcro and 3M double sided tape but nothing works. It always pops back off and looks a mess.
Any offers please.

Ta.

Should have two plastic grommets that push in the holes and the plate screws to this

Yes just like that. Whatever it is thats inside the lugs isnt strong enough to grip the numberplate screws.

Fasten something to the bumper first . I just had a quick look to take a picture but I have misplaced it . We used to use a small alloy bracket screwed to the bumper and then double sided tape for the no plate . No drilling the plate that way and it still keeps it in close . Annoyed now as I cant find mine !! .
