ive got a bailey header tank on my sapphire 4x4 but I want to change it and put the original tank on, the problem is that I would have know where to put the vent off the swirl pot into. is there anyway I can get round this. I don't want to lose the swirl pot either.

Why do you wanna put a standard coolant bottle on for. Can you not drill the standarf coolant bottle and put an adapter in the bottle for the pipe to go onto.Im sure motorsport part dealers will sell them.

I heard you could get a fixing of some sort??. could it hold under the pressure etc. I cant seem to find anything any where.

but why revert to the plastic tank? if its for originallity, why would you keep the swirl pot?

Its not for originality . Sick of having to stick my eyeball in the tank to check the coolant level

Make up a dipstick to check the level. A bit more pissing about than just looking at a clear bottle, but easier to plumb in the swirl pot...
