Can you not offer up an M4 nut and see or am I over simplifying it?

Tried a few different ford screws from a box and nothing seems to fit, also took it to a fasteners place earlier and they couldn't find anything suitable either, seems a mystery but you're right it's unlikely to be an oddball size. Bodyshop have lost all the screws so a bit of a faff, will pull one out of the other car and see if I can get somewhere to measure it up.

Pull one out, post it to Margnor Fasteners in Guildford with your tell number, say i need x of these and will pay over phone, next day they call and post them out...I use them all the time like that.

Thanks for the replies, can also now confirm they're M4. Had a bit of a carry on today when I found out the ones in my 4x4 had self tappers forced in so took previous advice from yesterday and tried a long M4 I had lying about, went to same fasteners place as yesterday and got shorter M4 bolts and spring washers, all sorted now.
