Default Front brake uprades on a budget, whats available

As above please peeps

Can i buy a set of calipers off of another car (like a porsche or something) and have them machined or buy conversion brackets or spacers.

I have std 4 pots for the cossied p100 but i dont think they are going to be good enough for 400bhp or will they?

Thanks

I would like to know the same, but the only decent option I have found would be the second hand parts from the breakers...

Off the top of my head didnt the Peugeot Coupe and the Fiat Coupe have brembos as standard.Worth keeping an eye out in the scrap yards.I seem to recall as an upgrade you can use Focus RS calipers and 300 discs ?.
I may also be completely wrong .
I refurbed my calipers and went with dimpled/grooved and red stuff pads.I am still here

When you buy them you need to use the spacers to space it out 1-2mm

Seems a bit stupid, like you say they should just make the bracket thicker.

I have the following which could be made to fit easy enough

New 330 mm discs and 4 pot brembo calliper with new pads it currently is a rear kit but wouldn't take much to make a bracket so they fit the front £450

The words "cheap" and "brakes" in the same sentence makes me cringe.

I know ap racing are the best option but taking a higher performance option from a usually heavier car is still a good upgrade from stock, calipers from BMW will be good quality.
Cheap doesn't always mean shoddy. Focus 1 piece discs are also good quality but not as good as 2 piece ap discs but a hell of a lot cheaper.
Cheap can be good but obviously not as good as ap racing setup.

cheap as in £200 for a set up that gives 90% of the performance of a £1200+ set up.

are the focus discs 2002-2005, and do you need to have some brake pipes made up or do the standard ones still fit
