are all the bmw 7 series brembos the same theres a breakers close to me with a 735 in with brembos on ?

i would think so mate, they wouldn't change the hub configuration to change calipers, the owner prob upgraded using the brembos off the bigger 7 series.

I've been thinking about changing mine as im rebuilding the motor but ive already brought new disks and pads. I've seen these on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mitsubishi...item3380bd6552

just go with the bmw e38 ones m8 the evo rear arnt any good to you really as you carnt fit the hand brake cables, i just bought some e38 ones for £120

will be fitting mine in the next few days when the discs come can anyone advise on brake pipes dos the cossie ones fit or is it case of getting braided made ?

I dunno if i would bother using the FRS set-up, i used them on my RS2000 trackday car with race pads etc and to be honest they wasnt really any better than the 300mm Focus ST set-up! Have you looked at HiSpec they do race and road upgrades im going for there 300mm by 28mm race 6pot kit

Ive always wanted to put frs brembos on my saff.With it been 4x4 i havent seen any brackets for them anywhere.

The problem with the 4x4 is not the brackets for the calipers, it's the disc offset. Both the 300 mm ST170 discs and the 320 mm FRS discs have too much offset which means the disc will hit the steering ball joint.

Perhaps the E38 calipers can be used with a set of 320/330 mm AP/HiSpec/etc. discs that have the correct offset for the 4x4. You only need to check that the disc thickness matches the original thickness of the E38, otherwise the disc might be too thick.

If you give HiSpec a call and they don't list a 2 piece disc for the 4x4 they can just make them up

can recommend these guys ive add the car out today for a little run the brake set up is very good the spacers that come with the brackets are two wide tho,caliper hits the disc so i add some more made

need to be thinner or the caliper dosent sit central with the disc, in my case the caliper was catching the disc don't know if any one else as had the same problem ?

Yeah had same problem so just used normal washers as spacers
