Right Yesterday I ordered a zink set of driveshaft bolts and diff mounting bolts I also sourced a set of engine mounting bolts, today I started the process of bolting everything together in preparation to remove my lump and re fit my boa however I hit a stumbling block......
I bolted mounts too engine cradle and when I was about to mount to the engine arms guess what the arms are too long.....

For your 2nd question, no twin can arms will not bolt to a v6 engine block I'm using original Boa arms but they are too long.

XR4i subframe but was told standard Boa would be ok obviously not as distance between engine mounts is 545mm and with Boa arms fitted too engine distance between mounting holes is 620mm

The blue plug, don't know, but not needed to run the engine. Think that splits from the engine loom quite easy
The black lump attached to the metal bit, egr sensor parts I think, needed to be plugged in , but ports blanked off.
Can't find the photo of my loom laid out,
Can sort something out and pop round tommorow if you want, would be 2 ish, if that's any good?

Update; Right I have managed to get a set of XR4i arms thanks to Lee2cossies, so build is back on they should be here Monday/Tuesday hopefully.
I'm after an ECU and Exhaust that is all I need for my build.

Things are soon to be in full gear now my schedule is this weather dependant of coarse;
Friday evening disconnect/unplug and remove engine loom and ancillaries from saph fit new spigot bearing and sandwich plate then fit 2.8 flywheel, mount 6paddle ap racing clutch and bolt hybrid gearbox to engine.
Saturday remove engine/gearbox/prop/and all 4x4 running gear from saph then remove non abs servo/mc and refit an abs servo/mc then fit/mount BOA into engine bay and pipe up what I can.
Sunday fit 2wd front hubs/brakes/arb/tca's refit wheels, remove 7" rear beam/arms/diff/handbrake cable and refit new powder coated 7.5" rear beam/arms/diff handbrake cable, refit wheels.
Then it's a matter of waiting for my specially adapted abs loom to come back to be fitted and my boa to sierra engine loom.

I'm going to take some of the responsibility for that.

Although I did see you write somewhere, like you already knew, that you use the arms to suit the cross-member?
I used BOA arms, but used a BOA cross-member, but sure I have read that they will go on a standard one?
Any way, glad you got sorted in the end and things can move on.

I'm afraid wiring an engine loom into an existing loom is not my area at all, I threw in the entire Granada loom to get it running and that was crazy enough - and I had major help with that LOL!, I started with a a completely bare Saff.
Good luck with it all.
Good luck with it all.

I have an idea in my head if its right I hope it is I should be ok if not fuck knows lol.
The wires I think go into the car if I'm right I have to work out what wires are what on sierra loom going to original ecu then connect them to the same on the boa loom but theres a few i'm unsure of. I know I got to connect a wire or 2 to fuel pump, and to handbrake/brake pedal and wire to clocks for rev counter

Found this on the FSOC
I don't know if it's gospel but seems legit
Hope it helps, get it cross referenced by someone else who has more of a clue

that did apply to my loom and my random sketches i had, but when we was looking at Wes's he didnt have the 3 plugs, basically we think, an earlier loom, with viarious plugs, same cables but to several different plugs now

My drilled/vented rear disks also came today.
