i'll be using greys on mine, because they can bought cheap, and there easy to come by.
as said good mapping on the right spec, i dont see a problem,
i'll be going to MSD for my setup.

I never liked the idea of the spray nozzle being chopped off so effectively dumping fuel into the motor, the shit mine used to kick out on greys was horrendous - seems odd to still use an old injector when modern equipment is available, yes they may work but Siemens work better and you have the extra scope for upgrading which you don't beyond 450 on 403's.
Best ask a tuner and see what they say

Everytime I here someone mention greys, everyone jumps up with "get siemens 55 injectors or whatever ones they are and everyone then goes on to say, you cannot get them anymore.. which kind of leaves this debate dead in the ground. My Escort runs greys and has been live mapped. I get around 250 miles to a tank of super unleaded with some hard driving and some pootling around. A good amount of my miles is done on a cold engine. I am happy enough with that, it also goes like stink and greys can be had with relative ease. Everyone said bore wash etc would be an issue but a recent ctlinder test on my car has found the engine to be in great shape... I think the greys get hyped up with bad press like some other bits.

If only Tabetha could see this thread
A lot of tuners can NOT map greys properly which is what leads to over fueling, Siemens are newer and are supposed to have a better spray pattern.
Imo it's best to go with a set of Siemens 55, simply adding bigger injectors will not give you more power though
Do you still have a T3 turbo?

Cannot comment on greys but I went from greens on a pre programmed chip to 55's and a live map off Tony@Turbosystems.
Returned better mpg, runs cleaner and goes alot quicker lol
