Why do you have to cut the caps off?

I've got 400's in mine and them use the same fitting kit and i just left the caps off alltogether

Problem mapping maybe.Typical dumping fuel when left trottle.
I have seen this also for other injectors.

Mine was shit on fuel with greens fitted! I then fitted greys and a .63 housing on my t34 and it is miles better on fuel. When i went to santapod for central day last year I only used 1/2 tank of fuel and its a 180 mile round trip, plus running up the 1/4. We didnt hang about on the way down there either. My cousin has a rs500 and mine with the greys fitted is better on fuel than his on yellows and stg1

A lot of tuners can NOT map greys properly which is what leads to over fueling, Siemens are newer and are supposed to have a better spray pattern.

Imo it's best to go with a set of Siemens 55, simply adding bigger injectors will not give you more power though

Do you still have a T3 turbo?

LOl I think your tabetha reincarnated

Stu mapped greys for me on closed loop and tbh engine sounded a lot better at idle and was'nt at its 6-7 % co at idle like it was before.

Lol, you obviously totally misread my post.

I said there isn't a problem with greys, BUT some tuners can not map them correctly.

I see what everyone is saying, my only earlier point was that the siemens ones are bigger and more modern, and fit straight into the rail (not that the bosch fitting kit is a big deal), but like for like on cost (if you can get them) it's an obvious choice to go Siemens. If it wasn't for that factor i'd not have an issue with greys on a cossie, folk have been using them for 20 years.
